We’re still working on scheduling guests for later in the semester, but the 2008 Writing Program Film Series has gotten off to a promising start. We had over 140 people present on February 14th for Can Mr. Smith Get to Washington Anymore? The film was a big hit, and the students had many interesting questions for Frank Popper and Senator Jeff Smith.
As long as the weather allows, we’ll have Anne Lewis here tomorrow for screenings of “On Our Own Land” and “Fast Food Women.” I hope that you can make it there. The event will take place in the W.T. Young Library auditorium at 3:3o P.M.
